Thanks, Jeffro.
I just logged into my account again, and now my support plan is back. Still got those Studio entries, that appeared out of nowhere but at least the status of my Ultimate license is valid again.

Shouldn't Pro Tools Ultimate be renamed to Pro Tools Penultimate ?

Yes - But with a company (in the 3rd world) that expands one needs to be able to plan ahead and do costing and projection - which is impossible if you are on a subscription model - if we double in size (which is the intention) it will be impossible to keep paying subscriptions on all installations vs decising where and how many systems needs to be kept on a support plan - or freezing the system and still keep using it (perpetual).

https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/ar...ro-Tools-Tiers - Resellers will still have perpetual in stock for some time if that's needed. Renewals continue, so we are not cutting off existing perpetual owners. And if you are experiencing problems I can escalate your case.

As I understand it, existing owners of Ultimate licenses will not benefit of the "extra" bundle included in the new ProTools Flex, which will make ProTools Ultimate equivalent to ProTools Studio feature wise. Am I correct?

I wonder what I'd get for the extra $600.00 cost of PT Flex over Pt Ultimate support plan?
All my gas and electric bills paid maybe?

Here are screen videos of a mix I recently completed without issue on 2021.3.1 , and the same mix on 2022.4 .

2021.3.1 - Smooth scrolling during playback. Session plays back with no errors. Activity monitor has pro tools using around 300% during playback. 150% in idle. (Link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jxt051r5uy...ssion.mov?dl=0)

2022.4 - Session tells me cinematic rooms is causing crashes. When I disable that plugin I can finally play the session, but am unable to scroll fluidly through the session. Cursor is unresponsive. Lots of pinwheels. Can't zoom in/out without lag. Meters are super laggy. Activity monitor showing 300-350% cpu usage in idle (no playback), and more on playback. CPU runs a full 10 degree celsuis hotter. Basically unuseable. (Link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rz2z152jao...ssion.mov?dl=0)
Thank you for this info! (Should probably move this to its own thread.)
