Default Zooming IN and OUT - GPU or CPU

Anyone know what takes care of Zooming IN and OUT (R & T/Option & Mouse Scroll)?

Is it the GPU or CPU?

Anything you DO in a GUI is handled by CPU, anything you SEE in a GUI is handled by GPU.

So its the CPU cause I'm zooming in and out. My 5.1 sessions are just laggy when zooming

Will more RAM help in anyway with this?

Usually no. There are differences with server grade, workstation grade, and laptop grade CPU's and the amount of caches makes a big difference.

I have 2x X5690's in my cMP 5,1 & Server Ram, 6x8Gig at the moment. Wondering if 6x16Gig will help?

Depends on your VI use, for mixing with algorithm reverb that much reverb is overkill.

I have 5x 5.0 Re-Vibe & 1x 1.0 Space.

Also does more RAM help with Audio Suite?
