Default Toast CD reader \"kicked the !@#*? out of the DVD Rom drive\"

...which like the coffee "wasn't strong enough to defend itself"

Mac OS 8.6 and Apple's CD/DVD Rom drive (w/DVD player) craps out with Toast 4.0 CD reader.

Kind of a useless thing anyway.
