AIFC no longer supported?
PT 2019.12. I no longer can drag, spot or import AIFC-files. It took me a while to figure it out, since many of my older SFX libraries are in that format, but the Workspace suddenly would show: 'Unknown'.
I finally noticed the differences using Barbabatch. Wikipedia (and other documents) still mention: "Pro Tools handles WAV, AIFF, AIFC, mp3, and formerly SDII audio files." ??!

SD II support ended with Pro Tools 10. No idea on AIFC. Maybe look for a utility to format-convert the AIFC files?

Does this have anything to do with the Quicktime functionality being removed from PT in 2016.12? PT switched to its own video engine and may have previously used QT codecs to read that file type. Just speculating . . .
