Just did a search to find out how many people on the DUC have posted links to their mp3's created on 001. I found a few odd posts so decided to start this thread as a common point for listening and discussion on each others mixes.
Hopefully this takes off. This forum has been an invaluable source of information so hopefully by sharing the results of our work, we can improve things further.

I had a listen to some of your bands songs on www.upstairsmusic.com
Even though I assume they were not done on 001 (possibly mixplus/AD8000's?), I felt compelled to comment anyway. I particularly like 'Mistress'. Nice guitar work. What do you use (amps etc.) and liked Osvali's vocals on this track. Nice and strong. Interesting backing vox during the verse.
Obviously a little hard to comment on sound quality from 22khz / 56k mp3 but enjoyed all the same.
Looking forward to the new pix when you post them.

What did you use on the session? I like the rawness of your sound. What compression did you use on the overall mix?

Did you use waves for the drum panning on Walk of Love? Great imaging.

These tunes were tracked on DA88 and PT Project PCI, transfered to PT and mixed using an 001, an AMIII LE system and a PT Project (that's right, 3 different computers) all locked together with MTC. Only RTAS plug-ins and PT mixing were used. The 2 LE rigs were summed together in the Project system which played back the guitar tracks as well.

doc this is search-one...i used waves c1 with about the threshhold at -15 and attack at 100 with a slow release. then boosted the gain 2db... then ran it through the aphex aural xciter with big bottom.. great for the final mix
