MIDI I/O Flakey With PT9 and 10.6
Hi there,
Mu MIDI I/O has never been the best behaved unit but usually power cycling it and rebooting solved the problem of it not showing up in Audio Midi setup. Since PT9 and 10.6 it seems to work less and less reliably. Usually I have to reinstall the firmware and all is fine until I power off the system. This would suggest a backup battery problem. I've opened up the MIDI I/O and cannot see any obvious signs of a battery I can replace. There was another thread where someone with MIDI I/O issue had their EPROM replaced. I was wondering if this might cure my problem? Digitechsupport, can you sell/give me a new EPROM for my MIDI I/O? I can fit it myself. As I only use three ports on the box these days, I guess I will just replace it with a new interface if there is no other option. Cheers Lizardpoint |
