Default ezdrummer & ezplayer issues in PT 8?

Anyone else having issues with Toontrack products(ezdrummer, ezplayer pro & Superior) in PT 8? The seem to work fine but the UI is jacked up.

Yeah. Superior 2.0 has acted a little laggy in PT8. The master volume becomes unresponsive, the volume will change but the UI will not show it for a while. This also happened with the midi learn button.

Hi
A workable, though short term, fix for UI issues for all Toontrack products appears to be removing the instrument from the instruments panel (do not delete the track - keep that and all of your ez/midi regions). Then add it the instruments panel again. When you open it everything will be fine and you will have full use - until you close and reopen - the UI issues will return, so then do the same again. It takes a matter of seconds to remove and then re-establish and, although not fully ok, it is better than having all of the issues or no function at all.

Hope this helps.

Julian

i've been using it a lot recently but i've noticed the UI will get laggy and stuck but once i close it and open it it will work fine but every time i open a session it bugs out on me. honestly i've been having so many issues with 8 it's been unreal although in theory if it worked 100% i love the new features and it kept me from switching to logic at first.

[--- UPDATED: 2009-03-20 ---]

IMPORTANT:

The current version is EZdrummer 1.1.6 - Download the latest version now

Known bugs in version 1.1.6

- outputs become mono in DP6 when the plugin window is closed in pre-rendering mode *

* under investigation

Known issues with hosts

- Acid 6: first note event may be ignored after dnd to host requiring manual extension of clip
- Cubase SX2, SL3 and SE3: new MIDI track created on drag and drop
- Fruity Loops 8: error on dnd (sometimes leading to crash)
- GarageBand 2/3: MIDI grooves can only be dragged to new tracks
- Logic 7: audio engine has to be started before outputs can be captured to Aux
- Logic 8: key commands may interfere with typing Authorization code (use Toontrack solo instead)
- ProTools 6: EZdrummer is not compatible with ProTools 6 (as stated on product page!)
- ProTools 7: erratic screen refresh when GUI is sitting on top of a PT window
- ProTools 8: graphical issues on Mac (resolved with PT 8.0.0cs2)
- Samplitude 8: loss of MIDI timing after drag and drop (fixed in Samplitude 8.3)
- Sonar 5: sequence/name meta event is not used therefore clip has no label
- Traktion 2: host lock up on drag and drop when 'Real Time Property' is ON

Note that there is currently no support for Windows XP 64 or Windows Vista 64 bit
