Default Melodyne editor vs Melodyne plugin

I've been a melodyne user for at least 3 years, and I'm currently trying the 30 day demo of editor. Part of my workflow is to hit the down arrow so the locator start becomes that newly dropped position. This doesn't seem to work in editor, but things like ff and rw (from the keypad) work fine.

I read in the manual that all keyboard functions / key commands will only work in the DAW - not in the melodyne window (unless it's in combination with the mouse). It seems that everything else does except for the down arrow.

Anyone else find this to be true?

Are you in standalone or Plug?
I use mostly in standalone and the arrow keys navigate the blobs.
Double click start point for isolated playback SA or DAW.
