cpu usage error with single track eror -6104
Ok so i've installed 7.1 on an G5 powermac running 10.4.8 and a 1.25gm of ram. intsallation went fine but once i ran it with one, yes just one, audio track it gave me an error and wouldn't play.
error number is -6104 it tells me to increase the buffer which i did to the max and still the same issue. now i've had issues before with digi and i know that some times the error message doesn;t correlate with the right solution so what do i do now i've done all the optimization: energy setings, stop spotlight from indexing, removed every usb device except the keyboard and mbox mini could it be the actually box it self. i've tried a different usb cable aswell some one save me Brandon PS tried re install after a clean uninstall as well |

Which port on the G5 do you have the Mbox 2 Mini connected to? Which drive are you using for recording and playback?

Re: cpu usage error with single track eror -6104
First, using the internal drive is not recommended and could be the cause of the errors. You should try using a compatible external firewire drive or install a secondary internal drive.
Have you registered your Mbox 2 Mini and received the 7.3 amnesty update yet? If so, download and install that update and see if the problem still occurs. You should also try a new administrator account and see if the problem occurs in the new account as well. |
