Default Multiclock Plugin doesn't show up

Hey there!
I just switched from ableton to pro tools and all my plugins are visible and work fine except for the one for my ERM multiclock.. It just doesn't show up and is also not in the AVID plugins folder.

Any tips?

Thanks!

Earler versions of the ERM software support AAX, but it looks like the latest version does not. EDIT: It looks like you could install the AAX from the earlier version while leaving the newer stuff alone for VST/AU. It seems to be a manual install process.

Pro Tools only supports the AAX plug-in format, unless you use a bridge like BlueCat Patchwork.

Hey Dominic,

thanks so much! I tried this with the 'old' aax file, but protools gives me an error note. I attached a screenshot.

There are 32 bit and 64 bit AAX plugins in the download.

Only the 64 bit will work with recent versions of PT. I'm guessing you used the wrong one.

Hey Dominic,
the error pops up with the 64Bit version.
And before that I have a system error message, I attached a screenshot again.

Well, that's a different error.

I would log a case with ERM. I suspect that their plugin needs to be updated. Maybe they have decided to abandon AAX development, in which case you can try to log a case with Avid, but I doubt they will be able to fix it.

I have a multiclock, i stopped using the plugin a while back so can't confirm, the trick i use is i printed the click onto a ticks based audio track , edited it to be exactly on the triplet ish grid - then made it an elastic audio track.

It's now in my template session like an old SMPTE stripe so immediately i'm in sync with hardware regardless of the tempo , and unlike the plugin i always have a stable reference point for the sync in audio.

Hey guys,

thanks a lot! I also set it up manually now, with Strucure Free Midi Playing the provided sample from the E-Rm website. Works great, just have to keep an eye on the CPU usage I guess..

Thanks again for your help!!!
