Default Weird issue with clocking and 2022.7

I went thru some Hell over the last couple of days and had to use Revo Uninstaller to completely clean house before I could get Pro Tools to work again. Now it does work(talking the latest 2022.7 freshly downloaded from my Avid account), but I get the message in the screen shot every time I start PT now. The really weird part is this; the clock source still shows Optical/ADAT
(which is what I want) and all 8 ADAT inputs are working with no clicks and pops(which I would get with improper clocking). Color me confused! Any insights are welcome and below are details:
PT Flex/Ultimate 2022.7
Custom PC which I have been running for 3 years
HDN card
192 IO
Behringer ADA8200 connected via a single lightpipe cable

More: no hardware changes. When I say "clean house", that includes prefs, database, IO settings, hardware settings, etc(including cleaning the registry).

Does this happen with 192 as internal clocking? I am sure you know 192 is no longer supported so you could expect something like this happening eventually. Not nice though...

Your Behringer Mic preamp has Word Clock and ADAT In. So you can clock in many different configurations, none will be significantly any better than the others. So play around and see what works. It may give a clue what is happening.

The day that old 192 IO have Pro Tools/driver software issues that stop things working I expect we'll see DUC light up with people having problems, I doubt that is the case here. A hardware fault is always a possibility.
