Eleven Rack no longer available on GC/MF

Is this an indication of EOL for 11r? We've all seen the statements to the contrary but one would think GC/MF are moving the most amount of units...compared to Sweetwater, B&H, etc...

Sweetwater has plenty. It's hard to say what percentage of the online market GC/MF has. Certainly they they are the largest brick and mortar chain. That doesnt oesn't mean they are the largest online retailer. They may have simply sold all thier current stock price matching B&H. GC.com wouldn't be my first choice of retailers. Given GCs cash flow they may be waiting to reorder.

I just got them to price match sweetwater, they had 2 left when I ordered one 3 weeks ago. I also noticed they were taken off MF's website as I was still shopping around for a good deal.

Also, it should be noted that the GC companies never really promoted the 11R compared to other dealers.

GC hardly ever stocked them in stores, they were mainly online. And they never kept up with the price drop, etc.

So it's not surprising if they didn't sell as many as other places and eventually dropped it. They got out of it what they put into it.

Also from what I got from a well connected source. There was a limited time buy in for the special deal. GC has run or sold out most likely. They are out there as at least one dealer bought 1000.

11Rack. I think it took my guitar center 6-8 months to finally get one in stock. I ordered one about 3 hours after they launched. Sweetwater landed it on my doorstep about 18 hours later.

I suspect GC/MF not listing them doesn't means anything other than the boat sailed. And they waved.

Sweetwater and Alto have them. Unless something changes the free plugs offer expires on 3/15/2013. So you want yours registered by then.

The deal Sweetwater has going on now is a very sweet deal. If you are planning on getting an 11R, and need protools, you want to jump on this before it's gone.

I just got mine from Alto, the atual store. They used to have them in the middle of the aisle all set up with heapphones and a guitar to try it out. They have since been kind of moved out of the way.

I have a question about the free plugs. Will they be uploaded to the 11r or can those plugs only be used with the computer.

They can only be used on the computer.

Keep in mind that in a sense, you already have the equvalents in the 11R. The reverb is a simplified version of Reverb One. And the 11R amps are exactly the same as in the plugin, plus way more. So unless you really want Tel Ray and Moogerfooger in the rack, it's not a big deal.
