Default No SRC in 2021.3.1

Hi there, since I've updated to 2021.3.1, the SRC function doesn't work.
I've only tried the 24->25 SRC. But I've tried it both ways: importing with 50.000 samples to 48.000 samples, en vice versa, exporting from a 24fps session to a 24fps file.

It does take it's time to process, but nothing (the 4% shorten) happens...

A colleague of mine has the same issue on 2021.3.0
We both run on MacOS 10.14.6 Mojave

Hi Gregory,
Interface is MTRX Studio. But that's not applicable here I think..

In that video link you've added it's about SRC via session sample rate change, and import session data SRC.

I'm only talking about Audio Import with SRC, and File Export As SRC. Because that's what I use for years now ;-)

There was a confirmed bug (PT-269035) affecting SRC on audio import in 2020.12. From the release notes of 2021.3 this should have been fixed. Maybe the messed something else up now.

Does the audio import window show the correct sampling rate in the conversion section after choosing the conversion preset from the pull-down menu?

Hi, yes, the correct conversion presets come up.
So, it's not only audio import src that doesn't do anything, also "file export as" doesn't sample rate convert..

Maybe it wasn't fixed after all..?

I can't try 'cause I haven't updated to this dreadful version but if you're sure you should get a support ticket and report this as a bug.

I'd reach out to support. Sorry I misunderstood or mis answered your post. I was in the middle of 3 projects and just glanced at this when I was looking for something else.

I went to 2021.3.1 a while ago and am super happy with it except for the QT movie bounce bug, which I am working with Avid on at the moment also.
I'll see if I can look at this over the weekend if you want and see what I can find out from the hire ups at Avid. G

Is this it? Under Bug Fixes in 2021.3.0 so I would assume it's good in 2021.3.1

Selecting an SRC pull value in the Import Audio Window will once again use the correct value for sample rate conversion (PT-269035)

Hi All,

Been having the same issue, I've been trying to do a pull down (from 24 to 23.98) all morning. Running 2021.3.1, also tried it on another system with 2021.3.0 still nothing. I was finally able to successfully do it in 2020.12.

^^ regardless of the description of this bug fix, whenever you apply a sample rate conversion in the import audio window, no conversion actually applies it looks like it just reprocesses the audio? Hopefully they fix this soon.
