can i configure the control 24 to work with reason 4

i was using the control 24 the other day at university for my session, and i am wondering if i could use it with Reason 4?

No, you cannot control Reason with a C|24 the way you can Pro Tools. PT control surfaces are proprietary to only controlling PT (i.e. you can't use Digi surfaces with Logic, Ableton and so on). Try looking into something like a Mackie control surface for that.

The 002 and the Command 8 (don't think the 003 has it, but not sure) have a "stand alone" mode which lets you switch out of Pro Tools with a button and use the controllers as midi controllers for any software such as Reason, Live etc) and then switch back again to Pro Tools with a push of the same single button. The Icons, Command 24 and C24 don't let you do this. HTH.
