Installer Failure OS X
The college where I work bought 5 Mbox 2 Mini's and we are trying to install Pro Tools 8.
We have iMac's with OS X 10.5.7. When we insert the Pro Tools DVD and run setup, its stops right away with a message that the "Installer Unexpectedly Quit". Does anyone have any advice about this problem? They're new machines, and the last thing we expected was to not even be able to install.

Weird. Was their only 1 install disc. Can you register and download the installer and give that a shot?

I had trouble with original download of Pro Tools 8, if you phone digi they can send you a digidelivery link to a version from their own servers. Needless to say everything worked fine from here on.
