Hey,
when ever i record i have two problems: 1.) When i record a new track (Audio & MIDI) i cannot seem to control volume faders as when i try to play the song it defaults to the standrard volume setting, is there something like track automation enabled, if so how can i turn this off? ![]() Its really frustrating me, so any help on this would be appriciated |

While a track is in record, you should be able to adjust the fader(automation is bypassed for a track in record)but it may snap back when you are out of record. Here are two options: turn OFF automation for that track(the button that defaults to READ). Select volume view(EDIT window) and drag the line up/down. In any case, I recommend hitting youtube.com and searching for things like "using pro tools automation"(without the quotes) so you can dig in and learn(there's a lot to learn on any DAW)
