The mackie onyx is an awesome product. The retail price keeps increasing.
Anybody rocking the onyx?

Well, which Onyx product are you referring to? They have an entire line called ONYX including small format mixers, large format mixers, external mic pres, audio interfaces, etc.

The onyx 800R. When I purchased the unit I was only running LE. I would set Pro Tools to clock to the onyx and I could definitely hear a much more desirable low end response.
The pre-amps are really transparent as well, which I like at times for drums.
