Hi,
I recently bought a "vintage" Pro Tools system: - Apple Power Mac G5 with PCI Core and Accel Card - Digidesign 192 - Pro Tools 8.01 and later added a Digidesign Command 8. I am very happy with the Command 8, but there is one issue: When I use the faders to adjust the volume of a channel during playback, the fader changes are ignored and the virtual fader in the Pro Tools mix window is stuck. I have to stop playback and change the volume of another track to get the affected fader "unstuck". The firmware on the Command 8 is 2.01.01, so I could try upgrading to 2.01.02 but the link to the upgrader for Mac OS X on the Avid site is broken. Does anyone have a fix for this problem, or can provide me with the upgrader and firmware for Mac OS X? Any help would be much appreciated. |
