Default bank / program change with VIs

I created a large sampler bank with lots of instruments inside that I can access via program / bank changes. I am running the sampler in Vienna Instruments Pro which is connected to Protools 8 le.

Right now switching patches via program change works but I only see program number and not the patchnames - what makes it a bit confusing with large soundbanks. Frankly, who remembers that bhind program No. 24 are the legato strings or something like that...

To have a better overview of the sounds with the soundbank I want to create a bank/program (midnam?) file in Protools to be able to see patchnames and select the according patches in the Midi editor.

How can that be done? All the midnam files I found relate to hardware synths.
