Default autotune acting weird

Here's my situation. Been working on a project for a while that obviously needs tuning in places. No problems. Suddenly, autotune won't record what it corrects. It sounds corrected going down, but when I paste the region to the track I'm correcting I find it has simply recorded the original with no changes. Anybody ever ran into this?

Here's my set up....

I'm bussing the track I'm working on out on bus1 to another mono audio track with autotune on the insert. It's input is set to bus 1, its output is to mains. No other plugs are running. Autotune is NOT bypassed. I'm using "input only monitoring".

All of your help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Pat

Which track do you have AutoTune on - the original insert, or the one you're recording on? It should be on the original track's insert.

You know, that may be it. I took a couple of weeks off and I may have it on the wrong track. I'll check and repost!

Thanks,

Pat

Make sure when using autotune in manual mode, you have to start from the same point every time otherwise it throws the correction in the wrong spot...

I hate to admit it, but Rail has pointed out my stupidity. Autotune was not acting weird, I was, by placing the insert on the wrong track I have to say, Rail, thanks a million. I tuned all night last night. You got me back on the right track!!! LITERALLY!!
