Midi Trouble After 6.7 Upgrade
A myriad of midi problems began occuring after I upgraded to 6.7. These included clock errors, midi logjam, and crashing upon selection of previously working midnam files. To save users, perhaps, some grief, I am posting to say that (so far) after trashing both apple midi prefs, things are back and working great.
Those prefs are HD>library>preferences>com.apple.MIDI.(########).p list and User>library>preferences>com.apple.audio.AudioMIDI Setup.plist Best Wishes. |

Re: Midi Trouble After 6.7 Upgrade
spoke too soon.
the issue as you might have read in other threads occurs when adding a second midi track, with a second midi channel, from a single multi-tambral device. when you assign the patch for the first track, all's well. go to add the patch on the second track and the machine crashes everytime. apparently, they're now working on a fix. fyi this is using a motu mtp av. in digital performer, all the same middev and midnam files work fine. |
