Strange Mbox weirdness after 10.4.9 upgrade
This has to be one of the strangest things yet. After upgrading to OS X 10.4.9, the Mix knob on my Mbox (original) is behaving in exactly the opposite way as before. To clarify, when I want to record with a mic and have the gain adjusted on the mic input knob, then I rotate the Mix knob to the left for input, I get feedback from my speakers.
I've checked all connections about 20 times, and the only thing I can think of is that either something in 10.4.9 changed the Mbox behavior, or some other setting was changed inadvertently. And here's a stranger part: even when Pro Tools is not running and I want to use the Mbox for playback through the Digi CoreAudio Manager, the weirdness still exists. Anyone have a clue about this? Perhaps the firmware of the Mbox itself was messed up. I dunno. Vg

Did you download the combo updater or use the auto update?
