24 bit throughput on 16 bit PT3 nubus?
Hi, I have a PT3 nubus system with an 888 and a Lexicon Nuverb card running as an effects proccesor in my analog 2" and PTle studio. I seem to recall that the 888 and the 5.1 software would throughput 24 bit audio via digital in, just not record it to disc. Is this correct?
As I am using it as an effects proccesor this would suit me fine. I think the Nuverb card is 16 bit only though. thanks in advance for your knowledgeable reply. Tex |

Re: 24 bit throughput on 16 bit PT3 nubus?
You got confused with PTIII on PCI, which does support 24bit I/O, just not to disk.
