MP3 Option not working in Pro Tools 10

I have just installed upgraded to PT10 and tried the bounce as an MP3 option to itunes but it says that MP3 option has expired.

This is strange because I thought it was an added feature to PT10. I have purchased the legacy MP3 option in the past.

I do not see any option to install it either.

Ant ideas welcome.

yeah, I deleted my DAE preferences and now pt is not giving me my Mp3 option

Before installing PT 10 did you uninstall the old version you had and made sure to erase the folders that went with it?

Have you installed any other drivers after your PT install?
I had a similar issue installing mbox drivers after PT. Turns out it has to do with the interlock drivers and the Mbox overwrite the new ones with older ones.
Need the most current ones from Pace.

Yes, it does say to update the iterlock driver. The update interlock driver wont install either because it can't find the license support.msi or is in use on a network drive.

Do I need to install the interlock drivers from a different place?

Sounds familiar.
I ended up uninstalling everything and made sure all folders that get left behind are removed.
Start the installation process again but ensure you install PT last.
This was the only way I could get past these installation issues.
Let us know how you go.

Hi, I ended up with the exactly same situation.

With fresh install of Win 7 64bit Ultimate + PT 10.0.0 the mp3 bounce works.
When I started installing plugins somewhere on the way the Ilok driver did get replaced (I guess) so I ended up with "mp3 option expired".

Tried to install the latest Ilok driver but it stopped when the "license support.msi" was missing.

I´m going to do more troubleshooting later today to find out which plugin install caused this.

Have you downloaded the latest version of the ilok authorization tool and the drivers from Ilok.com?

Yes, so the very latest driver install was tested.

I think I went thru this to but works now. Avis should make clearer instructions for installs.
