I'm looking for info on how to add new plugins to Pro Tools LE 7 (for MBox2). After downloading, what folder(s) should the .dll files be saved in?

The installers for all Digidesign and Digi-distributed plug-ins will automatically place all of the files in the correct location. 3rd Party installers also install in the correct location, but not all manufacturers install all components to the same locations.
So there is no single answer to your question. The best way to install is to download the installers from the manufacturers' website, providing they are RTAS or AudioSuite plug-ins compatible with your version of Pro Tools. VST plug-ins would require the separate purchase of the FXpansion VST to RTAS Adapter: http://www.fxpansion.com/index.php?page=15&tab=43 What plug-ins are you trying to install?
