Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
so, in building my new studio, i'm putting a Q6600 cpu in the beast...now, i just wanted opinions. have we established that the Q6600 is gonna cut it? i'm very VST and Plug-in happy and usually have a good number of instruments loaded and a good number of dynamics and modulation effects open. is this thing gonna give out on me halfway through my mixing? also, is there a better one in that price range? if so, please share. thank you. btw, i'm gonna be running 3GB ram, 1-250GB sata (os) 1-750GB sata (audio) and the 003 Factory / Console.
