MTRX Dante IO

We have a couple of theatres sending show audio over dante to the studio via different VLAN's.


We are looking at purchasing MTRX to bring it into the studio.


Can the MTRX run multiple Dante cards in the same frame?


Possible to run different IP ranges for each card or is it one per unit?

You can have multiple cards per unit.

'Up to 8 cards in a Single MTRX Mainframe'.

As James mentions, you can have up to 8 Dante cards in an MTRX.

IP address for each card is configured independently so 8 cards can be on 8 different VLANs.

Also worth knowing is that the 128 ch. Dante card has SRC (can be disabled) so the different Dante networks do not even need to be syncronised to each other. They can even use different samplerates.
