Default Make midi notes fatter

I've searched the Pro Tools help guide for this topic without success.

How do I make the midi notes in the main view fatter? I know I can double click on the clip to enable a new screen. But I want to edit in the main screen sometimes

I do think it deserves it own heading in the help guide.

My default, Avid's midi notes are ridiculously small - basically unusable. That in itself is bizarre.

I would ask Avid support but my experience of Avid's support is that I get generic answers to questions that the agent has obviously not bothered to read.

I guess you are referring to the horizontal MIDI Not Bars when Tracks View is set to "notes".

In that case, you use the MIDI Zoom In/Out Button in the upper right corner of the Tracks Area. The same button is available (a little bit bigger) on the Zoom Controls in the Edit Window Toolbar.
Click the upper or lower portion of the button to increase/decrease the "thickness" of the Note Bars. Of course, you can also increase the Track Height to see more Note Bars vertically.

Yes, that too:

MIDI Zoom Out: shift+command+[
MIDI Zoom in: shift+command+]

These commands, buttons or key commands, apply to all Tracks and nothing has to be selected first
