That's great that that works. That implies that Battery is a plugin which has midi time stamping, which makes it sample accurate. Unfortunately, Trigger is not sample accurate with midi as it apparently does not have midi time stamping.

I assume you to be correct.

Slate wants me to send them a session anyway, perhaps this is something that they can fix in the future. At any rate, I'm ok with this "workaround" at this point.

Thanks,
Sig

Nope, they never fixed it.

However, what I do now is put Battery 3 on an instrument track, use DTM or DRT to place all MIDI notes, send that output to an aux with Trigger on it and voila, works as expected.

A bit of a workaround, and of course you need to use up more CPU by using a Sampler, but it works.

Does anyone know of a SUPER bare bones sample playback plug that isn't Structure/Battery?

EDIT - Looks like Izoptope iDrum or the upcoming Massey DRT w/ sample player would be good. I'm gonna demo iDrum and see how it works. I've actually used the "click" sound from DRT and exported it as a WAV sample that I use in the sample. Works great.

I can confirm that iDrum is NOT sample accurate either. It's a neat little app, and we may keep it regardless of that fact, but it will not work in this manner.

We're back to using Battery 3 until Massey releases his new version of DRT.

Thanks,
Sig
