Default Rex and ACID WAV files don\'t sync to session tempo

When I drag Rex or Acid loops into my session shouldn't they automatically sync to the tempo of my session? Well, they never do! I use 7.4's file browser (Workspace) to find the loops I want then I drag them to the edit window to make a new track or to modify an existing one. Whenever I do this it never syncs with the session. I always have to use the TCE tool to stretch or compress the loop to make it "in time."

Any ideas what I am doing wrong here or what I should try?

Thanks!

I don't know if I've tried ACID files, but REX files always seem to conform just fine for me when I drag them in.

Try dragging them from the Digibase browser and make sure you have the "Audio Files Conform to Session Tempo button" enabled.

Also make sure your are dragging to tick based audio tracks, not sample based.
