Default Good News! 11R seems compatible with Mountain Lion

Preliminary testing has shown the Eleven Rack compatible with Mountain Lion Developer's Preview OS X 10.8 (12A128p) with the latest 11R drivers, firmware, ERXP, and PT10.01. Who knows what might break in other builds of Mountain Lion, but I still think this can be taken as a good sign indicating that the 11R will still have further life to her!

Is that just the Eleven Rack driver or is Protools 10.0.1 working too? Or some other version?

Both seem to be working fine (11R with ERXP, and PT10.01). Again, very priliminary, but encouraging none the less!

A friend just pointed me to this link:

http://airusersblog.squarespace.com/hom ... -more.html

In my experience it is running smooth without one glitch in 3 days. At times I even forget it's a preview. Obviously, for anything important you shouldn't be using it, but his claims are crazy like it will screw up your iLok! I've been running, PT10.01, Eleven Rack, Waves v8.r11, Office 2011, VLC 2.0.... all without issue!

On a somewhat related note, there was a vid posted today of Russ (AUB) talking with Bobby Lombardi (on the 11r and 11 plugin teams), and Bobby hinted at more development for the 11r (perhaps another expansion pack). That got me pretty stoked.

Whatever. Does it work with PTLE 8? You, know, the DAW that I have only had for like two minutes, that I JUST learned to really use? That I paid for? That came with my Eleven Rack not even 18 months ago? Huh? Is this thing on?

I am with you. I would be happy with just PT LE 8 running in Lion just for the Eleven Rack features, not even recording!
