Anyone having success with 11.1 & Blackmagic Intensity Pro?

Worked fine for me in 11.0 but lose video engine connection in 11.1. Called support today, not much help. Said I should call Blackmagic. BE FORWARNED.

Try to reinstall the latest BM desktop driver. Togle between Enable Video hardware option. Right mouse click on picture and make sure it set on the Full Quolity not the best performance.
In video track input, try different setting e.g 1080i instead 1080p.

It works here with my specs (see bellow). However the overall performance for video comparing to PT10 is simply un-acceptable and indeed the show stopper.

Yup. You need to reinstall the driver in order for it to work (worked for me at least)

I have a 3D Extreme, so my case might be a bit different. Yesterday I upgraded to ver 11.1. The video looked awful, and when looping video, the loop point would be completely random and everything would then go out of sync. I tried reinstalling the BM driver (ver 9.9.7?) and still had the issue. Next, I installed 10.3.8 over the 10.3.7 co-install I had as well as re-installing 11.1. Repaired permissions and restarted. Video now works like a champ and looks as good as it did in 10.

When I upgraded from PT 10 to PT 11 I also had problems with the 3d extreme not playing out of my BM card. After you install the dirvers, you have to tweek the settings in the Black Magic panel, it is in the apple systems pref menu (at the bottom). I actually wrote down which setting work (but I can't find the paper and I am in session) but I seem to remember it is the 'convert to SD' (or something similar) that you have to change. Once I changed that setting the card works amazing, better than PT 10 because the audio/video sync is much tighter than it ever was on PT 10 and below using QT. My card is been flawless for 3 feature films already, you have to check the video offset, that has changed a lot. Also, the BM will output video all the time, PT no longer has the 'video out PCIe check box', so you van have video to your adr room as well as video on your desktop.

Yes. Get 11.1.3 but don't install the latest BM driver. v9.9.3 is as new as you can go. Anything newer will give you black flashes when you hit play. Anything before 11.1.3 is not really usable.
