What\'s the Difference?
I am still new to PTLE, and I understand using different sample rates and bit depths, but when creating a new song in 6.9 why would I want to use +6 dB fader gain when I could use +12 ?

Re: What\'s the Difference?
the +6 is more backward compatible than +12.
and also when mixing you shouldn't need to ever turn the fader up that high, unless you tracked too low, but that means you should be fixing ur tracking techniques and if you have ur fader's set for +6 and need more gain than that you can put a compressor on the track and turn the threshold up all the way and ratio down so that it does not compress the signal then you can just use the output gain. that being said. For some reason i also use the +12 fader's even though i never need them.
