Do AAXDSP plugins accept midi input?

hi!

Are there any AAXDSP plugins that accept midi input or is it possible to develop AAXDSP plugins that have midi input as well at the moment?

I'm interested in porting an AAX native plugin (that is developed with JUCE and accepts midi input as well) to AAX DSP.
