I have found it quite hard to see any pics of S3L's online, so I'm sharing mine for you to get inspired creating your own case.

Did you glue the monitor there? I don't see any brackets to hold it in place.

Hi, the Engine+Surface/Mac case is about 45kg I guess. I pretty much desigend the idea myself and local case builder who is my friend made it happen. Since the beginning we have made couple of small adjustments and couple of more are to come... the LCD holder has now couple of different angles it can be set at and we need to figure out a better drawer-kind of solution for the Mac do be in. But overall I'm very happy how it worked out!

No, it's just velcro, I can rip the screen off if I like. It's very thin and light so no need to worry about it being there with velcro
