Default Edit Window Automation Question

Hey Everyone,

So I'm still new to Pro Tools, and I haven't been able to figure something out. When manually writing automation onto a track in the Edit Window, can I select all the points that I've made and move them all up or down while having them keep the same consistency between themselves? Like if I had one point on a volume automation track at -2db and another point at -4db, can I select the two, move them both down simultaneously -4db so that the one that was at -2db was now at -6db, and the one at -4db at -8db? I just believe there has got to be a more efficient way of moving every point up or down without manually having to go through and move them all individually. Thanks!

Hey Thanks a lot! I never would've guessed that and It's been driving me crazy. One more question, how can i select points and give them specific values by typing the value I want into somewhere?

What if you want to reduce the volume on a track but still maintain relative differences instead of absolute differences that are already set up in the automation??

I don't think there is a way to type in a specific value, I'm afraid. However, if you hold down control whilst you drag the select point you can adjust in very fine amounts.
