Help!

Just purchased an mbox2 to swtich over from logic. installed pt 7.4

updated my leopard to 10.5.5, installed the pro tools le 7.4.2 update,

i have a guitar plugged in thru the DI input, and when i enable the track for recording, I just get static thru the speakers, shows up in the fader as well. what to do!

Check your guitar cable first, then the jack. Play it through an amp to be sure there is nothing wrong with your instrument or the cable you are using, then if that fails, report back soldier!!
