Pro Tools won’t even get past loading plugins on a new MacBook so I’d say it’s pretty useless personally. Unless you’re just editing.

Welp. I was hoping this would fix the random plugin stalls on load when running on Monterey but no luck. Still hangs on random plugins on startup. If I remove all plugins it starts up fine, but after installing just the avid complete plugin bundle it still hangs. Guess I will just fall back and wait for official support.

Like many others, I was experiencing persistent, destabalizing and frequent UI hangs on 2021.06, such that I had reverted to 2020.09.

I'll have to spend more time with it to confirm but I loaded up a busy mix session in 2021.10 and haven't seen a beachball yet.

Monterey isn't yet supported.

If you go into finder and remove any plugins that say "date modified" 2018, you can at least get it working. Unfortunately, this includes removing Pro Compressor.

Yep. Took a gamble and lost. No worries though. I'm sure Avid will figure it out.

Thanks for the info! That really helped. It looks like it is mostly the plugins from the avid complete bundle and I found a few third party ones that I had to move as well. Suprisingly all of my plugin alliance and waves plugins loaded fine!

What’s the reasoning behind this? I totally believe you I’m just wondering if anyone knows why this helps?
