Can\'t play audible new audio without recording
Extreme newbie here. When I record, for instance, a guitar track on one track, and I create a second track for a second guitar, I can't audibly play the second guitar track along with the recorded guitar track, unless I actually record what I am playing on the second guitar track. Merely clicking on record enable is not sufficient to enable me to reherse the second track as I play back what has already been recorded. In short, when record is enabled, but not recording, I can only hear what has already been recorded when I press play. There must be a solution that I have overlooked in my ingnorance. Any advice on what the solution is, besides finding an easier hobby?
