so at first i got a audio interface. didnt work. downloaded asio4all driver. nothing. downloaded the driver for the audio interface mobilepre m audio usb. nothing. finally changed the setting in my sound so that it recognizes the audio interface. now i can hear audio thru that music playing on the laptop and everything. now protools first shuts down everytime i click on playback engine.... this is super frustrating i know its ree but i wana continue my podcast. please help advice anything

At least you got it to work with your audio interface! What breakout box (interface) are you using?
