Pro Tools on Windows 98 Freezing!

Here is my problem. I am using Pro tools 5.1.1 on Windows 98 LE. However, I have had a problem with it freezing while I'm in the program. Whether I'm setting the EQ or just playing the song It'll freeze and I'll have to restart my computer. Anyone out there have some suggestions as to what I should do? I've tried installing new/bigger hard-drives, turning off the CD drives, Etc...Etc.
