Video Satellite LE Stutter (unsupported system)
Hi there,
We have set up Video Satellite LE on a G5 Dual 1.8 Ghz system (2GB RAM) with a Decklink Extreme (SD) Card. The card is gen-locked to blackburst. We are playing NTSC DV Quicktimes. Playback occasionally and randomly stutters and we are trying to troubleshoot the problem. Long term goal is to upgrade to a MacPro with an HD card, but for now, we would like to see if we can get this working. - Satellite Ethernet communication is isolated from our Internet and D-Control networks - High Quality Quicktime Image is checked - Quicktime playback priority is set to "Medium" - whenever we set it to "High", Pro Tools LE, won't play back and we get a dialog saying "press spacebar to stop playback" We are wondering if anyone else has found a remedy to this problem. This same system was running VVTR with no playback issues using DV Quicktimes as well. Should we consider more RAM perhaps? Thanks in advance! |
