Having the same issue here

MacBook Pro 16' (M1 Pro)
Mac OS: 12.2

It only appeared when I installed PT 2022.04
I did not see it on PT 2021.12

Seeing it here too on my M1 Macbook Air, Monterey 12.3.1 & PT Studio 22.4. Haven't checked the hackintosh yet as I'm away from the studio. Just seems to be a glitch.

He's also reported it to development/engineering.

No point in users continuing to opine this. Problem has been identified and reported by the best person possible.

I didn't see where the problem was identified. What exactly is causing it?

MacOS version.
They can duplicate the issue and know it happened due to macOS version so it should be fixable.

If an engine is knocking and pinging and sputtering and your diagnostic equipment says "diesel engine" your mechanic isn't any closer to finding the cause. What I was asking was "what exactly is the cause?" It was suggested above that we stop assisting with our theories because the cause has been discovered, but I still don't see that data. MacOS isn't a cause, it's a platform. If they're seeing the issue on MacOS but not PC that actually says very little about the culprit.
