Mbox 2 with logic?

I have PRO TOOLS LE with an MBOX 2 on my laptop, but i just got a Dual 2.5 GHz PowerPC G5. its got OS X 10.5.8

I want to use my MBOX 2 as an interface with LOGIC on my G5 but it wont work. I downloaded the core audio drivers and it turned on and everything but when i try to use it in logic it doesn't want to work. im super frustrated, i lost all my disks for pro tools. what do i do? did i download the wrong thing?

Did you already try changing the CoreAudio input device in Logic preferences?

Look in Logic Pro:Preferences:Audio…

Make sure CoreAudio is enabled and change the Input and Output devices to Digidesign Mbox 2.

Click on apply audio and you should be good to go.

Also check to make sure the track you are recording to has the correct input selected.

Still having issues? Open Audio MIDI in the Utilities folder and make sure it can see the Mbox2
