What do you mean by synchronize two 002's? Use two to record at once (enabling more than 18 tracks recording at once)? If so, aint possible as far as I know.

Yes, you can synch two 002R, if you use two computers. Synch the converters using S/PDIF or ADAT, synch the transports using MIDI. Set up sessions on both systems.

Cowboys,
We have had bad results by trying to sync 4 Mboxes on 1 PC. I'm sure you can use the firecable to run at least two Digi002 together. This is much faster than USB ! just an idea

Just for arguments sake....
depends on what USB and what Firewire you are running... FIREWIRE VERSUS USB Why sync up 2 002R's. that is what I am trying to figure out? Why not buy preamps and get all 18 in at once. what can you possibly need 2 for? Just wondering? - Doc

The thing is that me and I friend of mine are about to open a small studio, and we both have the Digi 002R. Just trying to figure out a way to put our equipment to work together.
