I've read studies that plants have feelings. So even vegans are murderers.

Has everyone cast their vote for this with the the ACA? For those unaware vote here. ARA on the list of options. Seems the best opportunity to be counted.

Dont think that matters as Avid is working on ARA and we have seen trickled down features and will see more goung forward so it is on the way and no need to keep asking for something that is being worked on.

Is it D day or plants vs zombies; nothing a short line to the pill store wouldn’t solve. Stop munching on that guano and get your head out the gutter. It’s a sign of the times. Also, don’t try to be the problem, be the solution by coming up with it without trying to call people out and not expect the same treatment towards you.

Well, Avid put it on the list of topics to choose from so I guess they thought it mattered enough. The survey is a priority based list in it's nature. Enough people want a certain feature I think Avid will focus resources on that feature over others. But hey, I'm just letting people know that Avid is actually giving users a voice if they want to have any influence on PT's future development. That's it.

Cheers,
Chris

When will we get full ARA support?

When it's ready for prime time!

Some companies implement a proof of concept and release it to the public, then a year later they release an update that almost sort of works a bit better.
Avid is not in that game with Pro Tools.

And that is exactly why I switched to Pro Tools.

Where've you been for the last 20 years? I could give you a billion examples where that simply isn't true. Case in point : Elastic audio was an absolute shambles when it was first released, and even now it doesn't take that much to make it fall over (try working with a track that has any sort of edits in rather than a single unedited file for instance.) I could give you a ton more (MIDI channels *still* dropping out on instrument tracks, commit audio crashing the computer after it drops off the end of the undo chain, delay compensation causing ear-shattering explosions etc) but I've got too much work to do to list them all.

Anyway the point is - I love ProTools and I always have - but I'm not under any illusion: it still needs major improvements in several key areas.

Kudos to you brother. There’s nothing like getting the productive juices flowing. Don’t mind me, however, I’m just mulling around the bush. Not in a rhino have you. Just joking. Sonny
