Pro tools 10 and Presonus 22 vsl

I am new to protools, I have a Macbook pro running Mountain Lion, a presonus 22vsl audio interface. The problem is that Pro tool doesn't recognize the Presonus in the i/o section. I am getting signal into the mac. When I check the "settings" "Sound" I get good signal. but when I add a track in protools and go to the I/O for the channel the interface doesn't show up. What do I do.

I will , I also have a m audio fast track and can't get that to work either

Check your Playback Engine. I just fixed mine.

I have the very same problem. I just bought Pro Tools 10.3.3, I have a presonus Audiobox 22vsl and Pro Tools won't recognize my audiobox on the setup hardware option.

Can you please tell how you fixed it ??

Assuming that your Presonus is installed correctly on your Mac, try this:

Launch Pro Tools, then immediately hold down the "N" key. If all goes well, you'll be able to select your Presonus as the playback engine, then off you go.
