Extending the db25 snakes?
I am in the process of patching up the studio and the included d-sub snakes are a few feet too short to where the patchbay supposed to be. Any good suggestions for extensions for the D-subs? Do not want to use printer cables for obvious reasons. Could not find googling any female to male d-subs for audio purpose, only male to male. can one use a female-female converter for printer use?
Thanks, Micke |

Re: Extending the db25 snakes?
Order parts from mouser. Follow the Pin outs in the manual.
Or, http://www.redco.com/ will make for you. Personally: I would get the correct length and sell or return the incorrect ones. |

Re: Extending the db25 snakes?
Plenty of pre-made extensions are out there. Take a look at this list: http://www.sweetwater.com/c830--Mult...__DB25_to_DB25
I would double-check with the distributor or manufacturer to make sure the pinout is correct, but most don't vary from the accepted standard. N |
