Win XP Pro SP1 v. SP2, LE 6.9 sys requirements
Mbox and LE 6.9 still in the box. Before I go any further...
ISSUE: WinXP Pro with SP1. I haven't read anything that says that I CANNOT run LE 6.9 on XP with SP1, just that it "hasn't been tested". Is anyone running it with SP1? performance problems? conflicts? systems implosion/explosion? Thanks. |

Re: Win XP Pro SP1 v. SP2, LE 6.9 sys requirements
Although I have SP2, and that seems to be working fine (still getting started and testing), I can't think of where there would be a big difference running on either of the XP versions. AFAIK, SP2 was mostly enhancements to certain OS features, things that shouldn't help or hinder digital audio performance.
Having said that, is there a reason you're not upgrading to SP2? |

Thanks for your response.
Your are right, SP2 has alot of IE and security fixes. Anyway, thats what the Mircosoft site says. Why not SP2? Not my decision, its a work box. Its a question of whether or not I want to ask my desktop team for two "favors" or one. I need a new hard drive, too. A beggars life if never easy |

SP2 is recommended for 6.9
