Pro Tools freezing up mid-session

I just got Pro Tools LE. It seems to be freezing up in the middle of sessions. Sometimes it will do it after five hours and sometimes after fifteen minutes. It usually seems to do it while I'm not actually using the software. There seem to be no performance problems otherwise and I turned off the USB MIDI Driver. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am having to save every five minutes because of this problem. Thanks
